The Minimalist European Style Apartment Harnesses the Splendid View
By taking advantage of the building’s orientation, the designers honed in on the wetland view and the abundance of natural light to create a tranquil retreat that mirrored the beauty of the natural surroundings.
For their living space, the homeowners wanted a minimalist European style that complemented their eclectic taste. They enjoy spending time at home enjoying the ambience, and were seeking an open, clutter-free space.
Our designer transformed the original three-bedroom layout into a more streamlined two-bedroom configuration. One bedroom was removed to enlarge the dining room, which encouraged easy movement and family interaction. To enhance the sense of elegant yet understated luxury, the wall and cabinets were embellished with intricate floral motifs.
To cater to the homeowners’ need for generous storage space, a single size bed was elevated in the guest room, and a massive storage unit was designed under the bed.
As for the master bedroom, it features a natural wood and yellow headboard, equipped with a pair of bedside lamps to encapsulate this opulent beauty within the home, while echoing the views from outside.
