Minimal and Earthy Urban Escape
Inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the apartment, the designer draws the natural scenery into the interior by captivating on natural and earthy material. A soothing and sanctuary-like vibe prevails through this two-bedrooms apartment, giving an urban escape for the young couple.
Striking a balance between flexibility and storage space, a kitchen island is designed to extend the kitchen working station with a hidden table and castors, which is easy to move wherever you like.
To create a sanctuary-like home where the owner could immediately feel calm and at peace, natural wood cabinet and ratten partition are incorporated in the living and dining room. Meanwhile, the rattan partition aesthetically fulfills the concerns of Feng Shui.
For the study, a L-shape desk in natural wood palette paired with stark white book cabinet offering an independent working area and sufficient storage space. The curved details evokes a sense of fluidity in the small space.
Bright and revitalizing colour palette is incorporated in the living and dining room whereas the master bedroom celebrates a moody and sophisticated Zen style. Slatted wood headboard design connects with the wardrobe design, which creates a sense of continuity and tactile consciousness.
