For the apartment located at The Wings, Tseung Kwan O, the family emphasizes on extensive storage space and a dediacted workspace. By taking advantage of natural light and fine view from the window, Japanese Minimal style and light wood colour are applied to all the built-in furniture.
To maintain a clean aesthetic throughout the home, custom-made furniture is the solution to balance minimalism and storage needs. The custom-made wooden TV cabinet is a bespoke to the space. The wood battens design has a textured and rhythmic effect, which adds detail and warmth to the space. To create a weightless and airy feel, glass door cabinet and white stained low TV cabinet were designed based on practicality and simplicity. The multifunctional storage unit served as a transition of dining and living area, display space for your finest collectables and storage use to get things organized and hidden.
Working from home is becoming the new normal. Working remotely means a cozy and quiet space is needed to keep focus at home. Knowing that the owner has an abundance of books, our designers applied a moving bookshelf with sliding bookcases to provide a large and systematic storage space.
Soft shades and white are the main theme of master bedroom. With built-in platform bed and ottoman double bed, designers utilize the space of every inch to provide closed storage for rarely used stuff. A hinged lid was designed for the dressing table. It hides both mirror and practical compartments which allows to keep the bedroom uncluttered and carefree.
