A Warm and Inviting Family-friendly Design with Scandinavian Style
Safe and nurturing home environment is always the top priority for children when it comes to home renovation. In this 671 square foot residence in Kai Tak went the extra mile in every detail, creating a Scandinavian style space where is warm, versatile and multi-functional.
To cater to the homeowners’ need for generous storage space, the partition wall of a small room was taken down and a double-sided cabinet was employed to separate the study and kid’s bedroom. Both of the rooms were added the platform storage to optimize the space utility.
The designer utilizes the wall of the corridor, by covering a whiteboard, which provides space for children to unleash imagination and creativity. It also stimulates parent-child relationships.
The master bedroom features a simple yet soothing palette of light wood tones, cultivating an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility.
